Court Structure

Local Courts

Handle minor disputes, small claims, and first-instance criminal cases. Presided over by appointed judges.

District Courts

Handle appeals from local courts and more serious cases. Multiple judges may preside.

Supreme Court

The highest court. Handles constitutional matters and final appeals. Decisions create binding precedent.
